Jodi & Jeff

This was by far one of my favorite events in 2008! Jodi and Jeff are such a unique couple. They both have backgrounds in the arts and chose The Eisner as their ceremony and reception venue.

An understated elegance was present throughout the event. Jodi wore a single orchid bloom in her hair and carried a bouquet crafted entirely of lily of the valley, a delicate and airy varietal available just 1 month a year. Her maids carried three standard calla lilies bound with a simple sash of double-faced black satin.

The escort and gift tables were adorned with botanical displays crafted of curly willow.  Anchored in burnished river rocks and encrusted with green cymbidium orchids, the designs added an ethereal garden detail to the event.

A trio of clustered vases graced the table centers; adding just a hint of color and texture to an otherwise black and white tablescape. The largest vase housed two cymbidium orchids and bear grass, apple green fuji mums were nestled in the second vase, while the third vase housed clusters of jade dendrobium blossoms, pink bullion wire accents, and a floating candle.

  2. From the mother of the groom (Judy Newman): "Understated elegance" is the word I was looking for. Simplicity and beauty -- a calming and loving atmosphere. Great job!!
