Urband Ecology Center - Summer Solstice Event

Muscari was fortunate enough to craft the flowers for the Urban Ecology Center's First Major Fundraising Event - The First Annual Summer Solstice Soiree and Auction. For those of you less familiar with the UEC, it is "a neighborhood-based, environmental education, nonprofit community center" located at 1500 East Park Place.

Lyn Falk, Founder, President, and Co-Owner of Solterra Studios & UEC Volunteer, was charged with interior decor for the event. She wanted to set the stage in an atypical fashion; selecting unique blooms that aren't typically utilized for special events.

Lyn chose a color palette of spring green and fresh yellow with hints of red and orange. The flower selection we settled on included Craspedia, Pincushion Protea, Leucadendron, Tulips, Various Ornamental Grasses, and Green Fuji Mums. We also used Wheat Grass and Sisal for accent pieces.
